Storyline of Watcher
“WATCHER” is a psychological thriller that explores the reality of power. This follows the story of three men and women who joined the special anti-corruption police investigation unit after their lives were destroyed by dramatic events.
The life of Do Chi-Gwang, played by Han Suk-Kyu, Kim Young-Koon, played by Seo Kang-Joon and Han Tae-Joo, Kim Hyun-Joo, was destroyed by a tragic affair. They became members of the internal affairs investigation team for the police and they tried to dig into the truth about who was behind the tragic event.
Do Chi-Gwang is an elite detective. He is wise and smart. He is also proud of his record of catching criminals. After going through a series of cases, he realized the importance of the work carried out by the police regarding corruption. Do Chi-Gwang then became the head of the internal affairs investigation team.
Kim Young-Koon is a police officer and a member of the mobile patrol team. He is cold to others, but he is actually gentle with a warm personality. He does not mix with others. Accidentally, he happened to meet Do Chi-Gwang. Do Chi-Gwang is involved in a tragic affair, which Kim Young-Koon tries to forget. To find the truth behind the case, he joined a domestic affairs investigation team.
Han Tae-Joo is a popular lawyer. In his past, he worked as a prosecutor. He was entangled in an unexpected case and survived despite his life in great danger. He then quit his job as a prosecutor and became a lawyer. He meets Do Chi-Gwang and Kim Young-Koon and joins their internal affairs team.
